Dr. Alan Bostakian is a seasoned change management leader with over 25 years of experience across the public and private sectors. He currently serves as Director of the Profession at the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), where he leads key initiatives including ACMP’s global credentials, the Qualified Education Provider (QEP) program, the ACMP Standard for Change Management, and academic research. Alan holds a PhD in Business Administration and is both a Master Change Management Professional™ (MCMP™) and a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP®). He has also completed executive programs at Harvard (Strategy Execution), MIT (Leading Change), Stanford (Project Management Mastery), Johns Hopkins (Data Science), and Cambridge (Supply Chain Management). Throughout his career, Alan has held senior change management roles at major Canadian institutions such as the City of Toronto, the Government of Ontario, Scotiabank, and TD Bank. As an expert in training and development, he has contributed to organizations including the Real Estate Council of Ontario, the Global Association of Corporate Universities (UK), CPHR BC, and several Canadian colleges. Alan is also a published author in the field of change management.
